Harry Potter in UK

These are the 3 places we visited in London as part of our Harry Potter pilgrimage:

– Platform 9 3/4 in Kings cross station

– Christ Church college in Oxford, inspiration for Hogwart

– Harry Potter warner bross museum in Leavesden. This is truly the main highlight. If you are Harry Potter fans the visit to the warner Bross museum in Leavesden is a must. The ticket must be reserved weeks ahead as they are easily sold out especially on the weekends.

Platform 9 3/4 at Kings Cross stations
You would find the Platform 9 3/4 if you go to the Train Station at Kings Cross. They have set up a specific photo spot and props for all the tourist to take pictures. They also offer photographed service for a fee.

Christ church college in Oxford

We went to Oxford on the same day as our trip to Bicester Village. We visited Oxford in the morning, have lunch and then take the train to Bicester. Oxford University was said to be the inspiration for JK Lawrence on Hogwarts and its famous dining hall.

Trip to Harry Potter museum in Leavesden

We purchased the combo bus ride+museum ticket. The bus to Leavesden leave from Victoria Coach Station. This is also the reason why we chose accommodation in Victoria area.

I will write more details what’s inside Harry Potter’s museum in my next post
