Perfect 2 weeks Girls trip itinerary to Germany, Prague and Austria

This trip idea came from Sari. She said she has been designing the itinerary of this trip which involve going around few cities in Europe by train since 2 years ago. She came up with this idea back in late 2017 and I am of course always up to any Europe trip. So we started to arrange the dates. Initially we wanted to go in August but that would be in the peak of summer and we didn’t really want to travel in the heat of summer. We settled for Autumn trip on 26 Oct-10 Nov. I had to leave Hubby and Fabio behind for obvious reason; Hubby had exhausted his annual leave and Fabio could not skip school anymore as he was already on year 7 middle school. I have bid good bye to cheap flight ticket for family holiday. I am glad I have had my full share of cheap flight promo tickets for many years until Fabio entered year 6 lol.

After I bought flight tickets for Alyssa and me, the nervousness started. Can I really pull this trip; flying long haul just me and Alyssa. Sari live in Singapore and we’re flying different airlines so we would only be meeting in Berlin. I would share in my next post on how we both survive the long haul flight *Big Grin*

Here’s our itinerary:

26 Oct: Fly Turkish airlines 9pm

27 Oct: Arrive Berlin 9.45am. Berlin Wall memorial, Check point Charlie, Topography of terror, Gendarmenmarkt

28 Oct: Brandenburg gate, Holocaust memorial, Reischtag, Alexanderplatz, Berliner Dome, East Side Gallery

29 Oct: Train to Prague. Old town square

30 Oct: Charles Bridge, Kampa island, Strahov Monastery, Loreto, Prague Castle and St Vitus Cathedral, Palladium Mall

31 Oct: Train to Cesky Krumlov for day trip and go back by Regio Jet Bus

1 Nov: Train to Vienna. Sari and Alyssa were under the weather so we decided to just take a nap and only go out in the evening to the center to see St Stephan cathedral and dinner in the area

2 Nov: Breakfast in Naschmarkt and stroll around Vienna (Albertina, Hofburg Palace, Parliament, State Opera, Musikverein etc), The Prater and end the night going to Mozart and Strauss mini concert by Wiener Royal Orchester

3 Nov:  Schonbrunn Palace, Stadtpark. Watch The Magic Flute by WA Mozart at Marionette Theatre

4 Nov: Train to Hallstatt. Take lots of picture  in lake Hallstatt and market square

5 Nov: Panorama furnicular, Hallstatt skywalk, coffee at Rudolph tower, Hallstatt view point and take lots of pictures

6 Nov:  Train to Salzburg. Schloss Mirabell, Mozart birthplace, residenzplats, Makartsteg

7 Nov: Original Sound of Music Tour, Stiftskirche St peter, Hohensalzburg Fortress

8 Nov: Train to Munich. Marienplatz, Asamkirche, Peterskirche,  Neus Rathaus, Michaelskirche and shop-shop-shop

9 Nov: Neuschswanstein Castle

10 Nov: English garden and more shopping. Fly back to Jakarta in the evening

We’re taking it easy with the itinerary as we were traveling with a 3 years old. Despite of that we were walking 20,000+ steps almost everyday and  I managed to lost 2kg (only to gain it back again in my trip to BKK a week after lol)
